Hair and Beauty 9 June 2009, 3.00pm-5.00pm, at East Durham College, The Salon
Society, Health and Development 10 June 2009, 3.00pm-5.00pm, at Bishop Auckland College, The Nursing Suite
Sport and Leisure 11 June 2009, 3.00pm-5.00pm, Playing for Success, County Durham Cricket Club, Chester-Le-Street.
This meeting is for practitioners and cluster leads from the delivery partners of the Sport and Active Leisure Diploma. The session will give County updates as well as focusing on the SAL content as the consortium move toward diploma delivery.
Creative and Media 8 July 2009, 1.00pm-4.00pm, at The Visual Arts Centre, Durham Gilesgate Sixth Form Centre
An LSN trainer will provide Creative and Media specific training relating to the Project and Extended Project element of the Diploma qualification. This will replace the original twilight meeting.

County Durham Consortium Handbook- version 4.pdf
Please find the fourth version of the County Durham Consortium Diploma Handbook. It outlines the meetings structures, gateway processes, recruitment processes and other useful information related to the County Durham Consortium Diploma. The document will be regularly updated and uploaded onto the website and the Durham Learning Gateway. Please contact the team if you have any queries.
Please refer to page 16 in the Diploma Handbook for examples of the Official County Durham Consortium Logos. The 'Line Specific Logo' and 'Pink Triangle' must be visible on all cluster documentation. Clusters are welcome to use their own housestyle logos as long as the two County Durham Consortium logos are clearly visible. These logos are available to download either from The Durham Learning Gateway, or by contacting the 14-19 Partnership Team.

CIEH Level 2 Award in Health and Safety in the Workplace
Free course and accreditation Practitioners will be provided with up to date health and safety knowledge in order to help them prepare learners for all types of employer engagement and work experience. This course will include a multiplechoice assessment at the end of the day in order to achieve accreditation.Please select one of the following dates:
